    1990s Foreman vs 1990s Tyson

I've heard this that Tysons style wasn't suited and cus said something when he was a kid about a fighter like foreman.

But, seriously.. does anybody feel that a 90s foreman has a chance vs Tyson who fought ruddock?

A 1987 knocks out foreman of 90s with ease, 70s foreman is a different story lol

Na, the Tyson that fought Ruddock still had more than enough to deal with Foreman, Mike showed great chin, speed, power and stamina in both of those fights. But I think it would be a very tough distance fight which Mike would win on points.

However......the Foreman that fought Holyfield in 1991 vs the Tyson that fought Holyfield in 1996 might just be a different result in Foreman's favour. Tyson was not a 12 rounds distance fighter at any point post incarceration in my opinion.

There are six types of Mike:
        1.) 1985-1986 Mike
        2.) 1987-1988 Mike
        3.) 1989-1991 Mike
        4.) 1995-1997 Mike
        5.) 1999-2000 Mike
        6.) 2001-2005 Mike

George Foreman of the 90's beats all of them except for Types 1, 2, and 4. The 1995-1997 Mike takes a split decision against Foreman, in my opinion. George beats Mike any other time of the 1990's other than 1995-1997.

Agreed, after Tyson dumped Rooney his style went down hill. Went from a fighter that picked his openings and took advantage with great combos who never clinched, to a guy looking for one shot who always clinched. A fight in 1991 I think Foreman scores a late KO getting off the the canvas from an early knockdown. Tyson couldn't take the shots he took from Ruddock against Foreman. In 95-96 I think Foreman had lost enough that Tyson would win a decision especially if it was a title fight. In the documentary Tyson from 2008, Tyson said his heart was in it after he got out of jail through the first Holyfield fight, I'l take his word for it. In that fight Tyson builds a big enough lead early and tires but Foreman doesnt have the gas late either and cant put him away.

Dangerous fight for Tyson. I feel Tyson was never the same without Kevin Rooney. His technique and head movement became less apparent every fight. He walked straight in(and straight up) looking for the ko. Most of the time he got it but he was beatable if you didn't get ko'd. This version of Tyson would be perfect for Big George who could be beat with defence and movement but not someone that is willing to trade.

1990s Tyson would have beaten 1990s Foreman but 1970s Foreman would have beaten1980s,1990s,and 2000s Tyson. In short,1990s Foreman would have beaten any year Tyson.

I can't see anyone beating George Foreman by going at him, especially a shorter, smaller guy in Tyson.
