They did at sfw and Morales schooled him.

Prime for prime Morales is the better fighter. Don't buy the "Manny is better now than he was then" excuse. It's more, the fighters he's faced since have slid and are mostly shells of their former self more so than Manny is now prime.

          I agree.

people say a past his prime Erik Morales beat pac the first time around

they say every fighter has one last great performance in them and people were saying Erik was finished after his third fight with marco

i think Erik first fight against pac was his last great performance and that was one Erik's best performances.

            it would be a war.

Any fool who says Morales would take this easily is like i said, a fool.

Take away the cut Manny suffered and it could just as well have gone the other way.

Morales didn't school Pacquiao either it was a competitive fight.

There is also the 2 ass beating Morales suffered from Pacquiao.

So really, the fight is 50/50 by all means, probably like the Marquez fight.

Yeah, but Morales was also not at his best. Pac was. Morales at Fw was a different beats than the 130 version. Quicker, hit harder, didn't get hurt by shots like he started to at 130.

If it's at 126, Morales every fight in a three fight series, but each fight is a war and is close. He was just better in his prime, and that was not Morales' prime!

That has always annoyed me more than anything. Whoever has closely followed Morales knew that from the Chavez fight onward, and even before, he was quickly slowing down and starting to show wear from bad training (more dietary) habits etc. At the weights where Morales was best, 122 and 126, he beats Pacquiao in every fight.

The second fight was going the same way as the first, with Morales outboxing Pac and winning nearly every round until his legs started to stop working and he started to gas. With Pac ****ing away on his body and pushing it up against the drained, worn Morales the outcome became inevitable.

Morales beats him 3 of 3 at 122/126.

What exactly is a prime Pacquiaio? Isn't he supposed to be in his prime right now,at 140-147?

At Featherweight, Morales beats him, but if you go Pound For Pound, Prime For Prime, Manny - who I think is in his prime now, or was at the time of the Cotto fight, anyway - beats Morales. He's just a buzzsaw, and too much for Morales to handle, I think.

                    I dont agree with this.
Eric beat him by circling away from Manny's left hand, throwing the jab and when Manny tried to slip it he hit him with the straight right. A punch which Pac doesnt know how to slip. All that stuff about cuts etc is just Pac making up excuses

Eric was already on thse slide before he fought Pac the first time, he had outgrown the sfw division as well, which is why he fought Raheem it 135. He lost 12-0 rounds against Raheem so he was basically shot by then, Team Pac refused to fight at 132 and instead demanded a weight penalty instead, so you cant use this to favour Pac.
