    Question about Harry Greb...

I read somewhere9don't remember exactly where) that 4 of Greb's fights were filmed(Walker,Tunney I,and both Flowers fights) but that they were filmed on nitrate film which is useless after 80 years so those films are gone.
My question is have they evr been seen?Copied?Do collectors have them?Anything at all?

I've never seen any fight footage of Greb, its a shame because the guy's record is so good and there has been alot of hero worship of him on this forum recently.

I like to judge a fighter on film, rather than legend/historic accounts. I've seen training footage of Greb, I think there is some on You Tube. But sadly, while he seems quite good at the speedball, his sparring, skipping and shadow boxing show his style to be so dated, open and clumsy. Its laughable to suggest that he would cope with a Robinson, Hagler, Monzon or a Hopkins but he was a legendary champion of his time.

He was a tough, well conditioned fighter with amazing heart and a terrific record.
