I think the Hearns that fought Duran was virtually unbeatable at the weight.

Supernatural speed, boxing ability, power and a lethal killer instinct.

McCallum would have been very tough but Tommy wins on points.

    The two Sugars?

Hearns a slight favourite over Ray.

Robinson 50-50 as blasphemous as that might sound to some.

I think Tommy is slightly underrated at 147 and 154.

I don't think Hearns carried his insane power up to 154, so I don't think Norris' suspect chin is going to be an issue. I'd say Hearns goes into slick boxer mode behind his HUGE reach advantage and cruises to victory. Norris, skilled as he was, isn't a better boxer than Tommy Hearns and isn't getting past that reach advantage.

          - - Duran's chin much better than Norris who was an excellent boxer puncher but with a lesser chin.

I think Norris gets iced early in this one. Hearns could match his speed with a much longer reach.

Each of them lost by stoppage in four of their fights. I never thought Norris had a suspect chin. Norris was fast and threw blazing combinations. I think he would have trouble getting inside on Hearns. I like Hearns in this one by decision or late round stoppage.

The last stoppage was an injury when Tommy was decades past his prime.

At 147&154 he was stopped a grand total of once in 9 years. In the 14th round whilst miles ahead in the greatest welterweight fight of all time.

At those weights his chin was solid.

Norris would have a very slim chance. And Slim just left town.
