Man, please come forward when you know more about how our state interacts with the federal government.

Here's a clue...it's our own money we're asking for.

California gives more in taxes to the federal government than it gets back in return. We are a donor state.

Alabama for example (and virtually all red states) get more in federal assistance than it gives. Alabama doesn't have Hollywood or Silicon Valley, or San Diego's beaches and tourism sector. So...that means they receive more and take away from California.

Surprised you don't know (but not surprised) about this as this is a very touchy subject with a lot of Californians, and one of the main drivers for a lot of the secession talk.

Lol I was a resident for 40 years bud. When you grow up and start making money you'll start asking yourself why am I paying all these state taxes and fees.

Oh so because CA gives to the feds they should be able to declare a emergency for anything so they can get money back? Let's take the Oroville dam as a example. Maintenance was over looked then what happened? No worries we'll spend the maintenance money on other **** because you know there's not enough tax money coming in. Then when the dam breaks we'll make the feds pay for it.

Or, cal fire will make fire fees to control the overgrowth then when audited it was found out not one tax dollar was used for fire prevention. So when there's a giant fire CA will just ask for emergency federal funding. Let's not forget about the peoples lives that were ruined because of this.

Oh wait, did CA get some rain? But the state is always in a drought doe. Naw it's time to ask for funds for a emergency for flooding. Lol what flooding was there this year that the state couldn't handle?

Train to no where? Yeah let's make a train to no where and give the project to Feinsteins husband so he can make the over charged money. Then cancel the project and fight not to give federal funds back.

Dont get me started on the states own screwing of it's own people on taxes. There's another gas tax already after we were told this last one would work this time. School taxes again and again. DMV fees, paint fees lumber fees and on and on and on.

In california you can get your conviction expunged and apply to have your fights restored. SOme get it some dont but people do get their guns rights back.

lawyers are smart at least the expensive ones, they will not go straight to get your rights back, they will try to get your felony reduced to a misdemeanor, get that misdemeanor or reduced crime labled as non dangerous non repitive (or you state equivalent) than from their they will try some post conviction releif type of deal and then after getting it dropped as much as possible than they will go for restoring yoru rights.
