I wouldn’t mind seeing Chris Byrd face Sergio Martinez or even Oscar De La Hoya if De La Hoya is serious about coming back. As long as he fights against guys in his age bracket then I don’t see a problem.

I don't know what you guys are complaining about. There's matchups to be had. Muhammed Ali just got a new trainer and I'm sure at this point is around or under 160.

He was a very articulate, alert, intelligent person and fighter - I would rather see him use his very good mental and verbal skills to do something else. He doesnt even look like a distant relative of himself. I do not want to see this man hurt in any way, period.Last edited by richardt; 10-15-2020, 07:11 PM.

Just goes to show the usefulness of alternative health practices.
Big Pharma would just drown him with medication then when that doesn't help they would tell him to amputate.

I feel him, he wasted a lot of health by fighting way over his natural weight. And still did pretty friggin' well while at it.
It'd be a shame if something were to happen to him, but if he feels like he really *needs* to do this...I doubt it's a terribly good idea, though.
