    ABNER MARES...underrated?

    People don't seem to wanna give this guy ENOUGH credit. Number one he's been beating quality quys since the amateurs! Beat Juanma twice... And in the pros his last two fights against Vic and Yhonny were spectacular. The guy ducks no one, fears no one. I mean damn his next fight is Agbeko...those last 3 fights are a TOUGH stretch and the guy is only 25...

    I'm expecting BIG things from this guy...but i do believe he's underrated a bit. I think the guy has a lot of potential to be in the P4P list... IF and i emphasize IF he beats Agbeko...you gotta start putting this dude in your P4P list IMO.

          Agree underrated.. He got alot of talent. This dude in his prime will be a monster

              i agree with u. def belongs in the p4p discussion...if he beats agbeko he should be top 5 no doubt.

                I think this guy can be special...real talk...he can box, he can brawl...i think this guy is just scratching the surface on his potential. hope he gets to develop to the fullest of his potential.

                    i wouldn't say that entirely...i would just say that people are looking at other boxers...who in my opinion will eventually flop such as juanma and gamboa...abner aint doing this "one step at a time" BS, he's going for the champs NOW cause he has BALLS. if he beats Agbeko, with all due respect to my boy Montiel and Donaire, i'll personally have him as #1 in the bantamweight division. dude come on his last 3 fights would be Perez, Darchinyan, Agbeko. That's FU**ING tough!!! And its a LOADED division with REAL talent. After the Agbeko fight he needs a brake. he DESERVES it.
