    Dipset Appreciation Thread

    The last group that consistently put out commercial ****ers....Killa Cam, Jim Jones the Capo, Juelz Santana, JR Writer, Hell Rell, 40 Cal, Max B

    I still wish they would get back together (no ****)...from a technical perspective, they werent the best rappers but they made alotta great music in a short amount of time (From 2001 to 2006)







    Everyone knows that im a big mobb deep fan and Wu-Tang too...Those are my 2 favorite groups. Im not sure where i would put the diplomats, but they did the best job of any group when it came to combining the old and the new...while they weren't great lyricists, they were good...and they had great flows. They were all gansta rappers but they had alotta swag...like i said, a combination of the new and the old. And they were the last New York group that had a very big song...Since Ballin dropped, NY hasnt had a single that big. Its a shame that they couldnt work money issues out, they fit together real well. None of the members have sounded as good since they split (no ****).

    Dipset had a solid run. Diplomatic Immunity was a classic. Jim Jones last couple of albums had a lot of ****ers on them. Cam had Purple Haze and the album before that. Juelz I didn't like his solos too much but they were still listenable.

    Now it seems as they are done.

      I agree....well at least with whats the game been missing, i didnt listen to the other ones enough where I can really say but he was better on group stuff/features. Unfortunately, their run is over. And Jim Jones was a beast on the first diplomatic immunity album. I almost wonder at times if Cam ghostwrote for him...probably not but who knows

        I always thought that Jim Jones had ghostwriters to be honest.

          Never liked. I can't understand the hype about them, at all.

          I mean you're an alright guy Cold Crack but I have to show my un-appreciation for them.

            Well thanks for your time...Im gonna have to talk to my friend Papoose about making a diss line about you...actually hes on the phone right now, and he just said this:

            "When i graduated I got my diploma, had to lean back like TS
            put Diploma and TS together, and you got diplomats
            Derranged's mother is very round and fat"
