I've said this many times and I'll say it again. This is the only message board I've ever liked. Every other one I go to, people are *******s. On this one theres a post rule where you can't post more than one post at a time. So you have to put everything in one post. and the mod theres talks **** to you, WTF lol

It's only the people that are too ignorant to actually look into the whole spectrum of hip hop that make those kinda statements.
It's like I'm not a fan of heavy metal but I won't say it isn't real music because there is obviously a lot of decent stuff out there that I haven't heard. You should show him this vid

And I would agree, to some degree, that some of what is contained in hip-hop isn't "real music." Of course, that goes to other genres too. Most of that artificial pop paint-by-numbers formula sound on Radio Disney isn't real music either. Those TV stars can't even sing on pitch when they go live.
There is certainly an art to much of what is entailed in hip-hop, and I don't like blanket statements like the one on the board you mentioned, but go to the opera or go to a symphony, then play Souljaboy tell 'em in the CD player on the way home, and maybe you'll see it a little bit "their way"...lol
