but i don't respect him anymore. i still respect him as a rapper though.

I've been listening to rap for nearly 10 years, and I've heard/studied the golden era of rap....which was the best era.

joe budden is a joke compared to 36 chamberz...atleast right now
but you said he has no right to dis anyone. joe buddens battles are enetrtaining that much i think we can agree. but with regard to who is better its all a matter of opinion. oh btw did he dis all the wu-tang? or just meth?

You sound upset. which contradicts everything you said. u made fun of us for being mad at joe, but your mad at us for being mad at joe.

second, u act like concepts are everything. not everybody is marvin gaye or nas. some just make fun music. whatever floats your boat.....

I agree, hip hop has the most sensitive fans and artist out of any other genre out there. If an artist says that he'll outshine another artist on a track in the booth why get all upset over it and start acting aggressive? Meet the rapper in the booth and disprove his/her point, simple as that. Joe stated that he was willing to prove that he could out rap a lot of those cats on that list. And instead of accepting the challenge Meth, Mel, and many others just chose dance around it by talking noise about Joe. Your never too much of a legend to the point where you don't have to prove whether or not you can rap alongside the current generation, and I say that in regards to Melly Mel. Joe said plain as day, no one was questioning his place as a legend or as one of the greatest. What was being questioned was can he rap on an equal level with anyone today? It's a fair assumption that he probably can't, especially since I haven't heard anything from Mel in a very very long time.

Hip hop seriously needs to get some thicker skin, fans and artists alike.
