It's hardly surprising he has the 'skills' he does with all that massive relevant experience.

Me, I'd be embarrassed if I was this 'good' arguing on Internet forums.

To me, it's like a kid from my day going around bragging about how good he is playing D&D in his basement with his other loser friends all night every night.

It's really nothing to be proud of, unless one has nothing else going on in life.

I'm not surprised he kept a folder on his computer of screen shots for future use. Talk about dedication. I use to wonder how he pulled up quotes from members that were made years prior. Apparently he catalogs them, probably has individually named folders for each member. F***in' sad.

If you and the posters that share your mindset like didn't constantly lie and switch your position, that stuff wouldn't be necessary. The problem is your group's dishonesty and hypocrisy, not that other posters keep track of it and holds you guys accountable for lying.

When your lies get caught, that isn't a game of gotcha, it's your lack of integrity getting exposed.

For one thing, this is not a court of law, so anyone taking this forum business to extreme measures needs to re-examine their life. Get some help.

For another, most of his quotes and sources are anonymous or inherently bias. Or culled from some blog or op-ed piece, which are opinionated.

You can be a cheerleader all you want, but I have not every seen you call out guys like him, Chollo, NaySayer, Jsmith, etc., and you conveniently ignore their lies, their fake or weak sources, and their insanity on many levels.

Here's the thing, imagine if he put all that time and effort in something constructive.

Kid could cram through college in a couple years. Or master a trade that pays well (HVAC, auto mechanics, plumbing, etc). Or work tons of OT at his job and gain upward mobility. Or have a string of women he could enjoy. Or anything else.

Anything constructive. But this nonsense of 'winning' on the Internet is sad. Trust me as an older guy, you always look back and think of things you could/have should have done, done different, etc.

Everyone does it, from Bill Gates to Trump, to everyone. Everyone could have done better in hindsight. Me, I'm pretty happy, but I could have done even better.

I'd feel really, really bad if I'd spent my youth and the next 20 years doing something so lonely, so wasteful, and something you really can't be proud of to friends and family.

They are really going to see what 'losing' looks like when they get older, and it'll be all their own doing. Look at Chollo, he's a middle aged guy.

I mean really, can you imagine catching up with family at Christmas dinner and saying, "My year has been great. I've got about 1,532 Internet 'wins', I met a complete stranger at a parking lot to fight over an Internet disagreement, I scored a bunch of Gotcha! points on the forum, and I now have a Championship belt in my sig. I had a wonderful year, what about you guys?"

Let's be real, these are people that if we met in real life we'd chuckle at and hope to never see again.

Read again. I am not accusing you specifically of lying. You're more of the hypocrisy type, not the lying type.

Doesn't have to be a court of law. It's a forum where we exchange ideas. What I don't get is why positions switch and change. Frankly, the only person who talks about "gotcha games" is 1bad, who has been caught lying and switching positions so frequently that he had to come up with the term to point the finger at those that continually point out his lying and flipping.

Often if I don't call them out, you notice that I am not in the specific thread. Often I do disagree and call them out. If I don't, ok that is a fair criticism but you don't call out anyone that shares your position. Why are you expecting something from me you aren't willing to do yourself? Also, which one of those guys when called on their lying or hypocrisy calls it a "gotcha game"?.

I'm not a hypocrite either. I've called out politicians on both sides of the fence, all races on their bullshyt, and boxers who I like on some of their nonsense. We all have our biases, no argument there, but unless someone can show me irrefutable proof that supports their position on any given topic, I'm not likely to change my mind. You, me and a lot of other posters are dug in on some issues, and we may stubbornly hold our ground at times. That's where we reach a point where we can agree to disagree. But with posters like Travesty, that's never good enough. He isn't happy unless he always gets the last word, stalks posters who put him on ignore, and insists that he "won" some petty argument that no one else cares about. I've given him multiple chances, taking him off ignore in an attempt to engage in some civil exchanges, but it always results in the same outcome. He follows the same pattern of calling people liars, deflecting, hi******* threads, ignoring questions, ignoring legit sources, and being antagonistic like a hormonal teenager. Keep in mind, this guy is in his 40's. He probably has more threads in the Dome than any other poster. That should tell you something.

Then we have this Chollo character (Travesty's best friend) who isn't happy unless he is beefing with half the forum and talking about some fictional race war that only he and other low-IQ morons from each race are plotting. He preaches out of the Farrakhan playbook and insults other black members who don't share his militant views on race. He's about to be a father and he's on here calling out dudes to fight all the time and making veiled threats, then goes on to criticize Larry who is a good father to his kids and puts in the work to give them a better life. WTF is that?

Yes, there are crazy on both sides. I don't think a strong opinion is bad. GGGGloveking and I disagree about the flag. He got banned however so our debate stopped.

The only real problem is when anyone gets called out for lying or hypocrisy. I just don't think there is anything wrong with holding posters accountable.

Yeah I saw Chollo and Larry's latest and just kept it moving. I didn't bother because I figured it would be utterly ridiculous. From this post it sounds like my thinking was right.

Here is the part you seem to NOT understand. Europeans declared WAR on the African 500 years ago - and have been waging this war ever since. Have you not opened a history book and read about the colonization of the African continent? Slavery? The Middle Passage? European exploitation of Africa's natural resources? What do you think the reaction should be when you declare WAR on someone? Are they just supposed to sit back and say "ok, whatever you want to do boss"?

The dominant culture in this country interpreted the ********* act against the Twin Towers as an act of WAR and have laid waste to the "Middle East" in its wake. They continue to do so until this very day.

When you declare WAR on someone - eventually they will respond in kind.
