    I Don't Think I'm going to drive/get another car

Its too much of a hassle, insurance, repairs, gas money, finding places to park in congested areas, people doing crazy ***** on the road.

Would rather not deal with it anymore, I'm just going to localize myself or bus it if I wanna go somewhere far.

If you live in a large city, you can probably get by just fine. However it’s not possible in a smaller city or town. You’ll be amazed at how much time we waste just trying to get somewhere. I don’t have a car fyi, it sucks.

I hear ya. I love driving and I live in California where everything is spread out, so not having a car would make life hard.

But having a car can suck. I got into an accident last October, wasn't my fault but it took over a month to fix all the body damage.

Last week, someone keyed the side of my car, so it will be in the shop again for about five days.

Barely had the car for six months. Lol

Where Im at it will work, I only got a license when I moved to MD for a few years, you can't get by without a car in that state unless you live in a crummy place like Baltimore city, its all highway everwhere else.

          Damn.

I live in Columbus, OH in a nice neighborhood. I rent a single story apartment and every day I have 3 open spots that no one ever really parks at. The parking is only for residents of that complex. Any resident can park in those 3 spots but no one ever really does. I have seen someone park in 1 of those 3 spots like maybe 3 times in my couple of years living there but it doesnt matter to me. As long as theres always 1. You can have max 2 cars per person and I once did have 2 cars, I sold the other one. But yeah, I always had space for both cars. Parking is a foregone issue for me lol.

Im probably spoiled now and cant go back to NYC or any where without ample parking.

No city on the planet needs more cars on their streets. Truth. I gave up ownership about 3 years ago and have enjoyed it. If the location is too far to walk, I'll get an Uber. If I need to ride in style, like to a nice dinner, I get a classier Uber. Lots of money goes into my pocket now, and that's alright.

I am in Cali and car is like a leg. It’s an essential and we need it to get around.

This. Can't survive in California without a vehicle, unless you live in San Francisco. In Los Angeles, forget about it.

THat being said, in Budapest tHere is absolutely no reason to own a car. Sure, it would be fun, but public transport Here is great.

Sold my Audi B5 months ago.

No need for a car where I live. I do have a daily driver though.
