It's a shame Dragon Ball Z became so much popular than Yu Yu Hakusho

Both of these shows had prime time slots back in the day on Cartoon Network, yet the dragon ball franchise has went on to become a household name.

Yu Yu Hakusho on the other hand was mainly forgotten.

Which is a shame because Yu Yu Hakusho had the much better storyline, better arch's, better villains, better messages, better music, etc.

The Dragon Ball series (manga) had like a whole decade out when Yu Yu Hakushu came out, that is almost 10 years of building a fanbase.

Damn. Buu saga was probably the best of DBZ.

But really DB is the superior series of all. The mix between fighting and comedy is much better. DBZ was very serious almost all the time.

I started watching Dragon Balz just before the Cell Saga started, before then? Afew of my friends would constantly be ****ing on about this show in school 'Interesting the way Goku is apparently as strong as he is because? He has a higher than normal empathy/compassion level compared to most Sayians 'It unlocks something spirituality within them'.

Sayians have not quite got the empathetic abilities of humans, but having these abilities makes them stronger 'And with Goku being brought up on Earth this in some ways developed him more'.

Heavy stuff that Cell Saga.

Note: I don't watch the show anymore.
