Artificial intelligence is a very real danger. We are playing with prometheus' proverbial fire: We do not even understand intelligence beyond different examples of what it is. We know that machines can be made to communicate and to learn. We assume that our empathy is a major difference separating us from that which is created by us... But if we have empathy, might the things we create also develop it? This includes a sense of self, etc.

I only worry about more and more losing privacy. I got a few skin tag on my neck and i keep seeing ads about skin tag. Only way that happens is my phone camera "spying" on me and selling to ads.

I have android phone and saw my google ad profile. I was concerned how much it knows a lot about me. Including that im a "high net worth" person lol

Not all feared for the same reason, but feared none the less and people just adapted as humans do.

It does make for great sci fi though. Some of my favourite movies are about A.I btw, Ex Machina, Terminator 1 etc
