I used to mostly post in NSB, but I start getting turned off and annoyed plus I always had a love/hate relationship with the sport ...

So has y'all guys interest changed?

Not really, only thing different is sometimes I won't have time to watch live fights and I don't box any more. Man those were great days

I still love the sport. I still watch live events for the biggest boxing matches if time is permissible. Unlike other sports, especially team ones, it's just a man in there with his talents, guts, and guile to get him through, no relying on teammates to bail him out.

There used to be many outlets that had boxing. Showtime, HBO, ESPN, TBS, the Spanish channels, etc.

Now there are not that many and you have to pay to see even regular fights.

Part of boxing was following fighters in smaller cards and that almost doesn't happen unless the fighter is signed to a big promotion.

Now you have promoter exclusively tied to a network so it is harder to get the meaningful match ups going.
