Background Disclaimer
I grew up watching Star Wars and only really liked the first 2 (Star Wars & Empire). Didn't like the next round of movies, the last on was tolerabe. The next round of movies, out of the 4 I liked Rogue One and maybe a little of Solo, didn't see that Rise of Skywalker (heard it was terrible anyway). I liked the 1st Mandolorian, not so much Boba, Obi had some fun qualities but the story was rubish. Overall, I don't like much of it.
Andor
Andor on the other hand, I really like every single thing about it. Casting is great, Stellan Skarsgrd killed it last episode. Serkis is exceptional and Whitaker is so unbelievably good I can't stand it. Denise Gough is kind of weird hot irl and Diego Luna is such a great actor in this series. How they move from story to story is very well done.
I'm extremely critical of film especially Lucas related and I don't have a single complaint off the top of my head, which is rather unusual. For the first time I feel like I'm seeing an original story that stands on it's own two legs without dipping it in that Star Wars sauce thing that they do.
What do you guys think of Andor?
