                  Hard left or 'communist' is what the yanks (and our favourite 51st stater Madison) typically call any kind of progressive nationalist or independence movement within the Western hemisphere... sadly there's an uphill struggle. Nation building's hard work at the best of times but when you got a dispossessed elite backed by a ruthless hegemon that brooks no disobedience within it's sphere of influence the odds are stacked against a positive outcome. The cycle of tragedy that we've seen so many times in central and South America is likely to repeat itself.
