    African American Medal of Honor winners!

    Of the 3,470 Medals of Honor awarded as of June 2015, 92 have been awarded to 90 different recipients. is one of nineteen men, and the only African American, to have been awarded two Medals of Honor.

      A culture should not limit itself to a month if it's going to hype itself.

      Morgan Freeman said it better

      Oddly enough, like egg foo yung, Black History Month is an annual observance originating in the United States, where it is also known as African-American History Month.
      I can't find any info if this month is celebrated outside of USA, Canada and UK.
