    What's your thoughts on Blackrock?

They're buying up homes for way over asking. Seems odd to overpay in this market.
    What's your thoughts?

I don't know anything about black rocks, but Larry here knows a lot about white rocks. He smokes them everyday.

This is pretty scary stuff and it’s flying under the radar, for the most part. Tough enough for an average millennial to buy a house now.

I heard of em a few times, read a coupla articles about how they influence policy in various countries so on and Weebler I shared a video about 'em which I only got about half way through before I hadda go to bed. I'll finish it off. Absurdly powerful asset management company with their fingers in a lot of pies and now have the leverage to impact on National and even regional policy decisions globally.

Investments totaling in the $ trillions makes them more powerful than all but a handful of countries.

Definitely mfers worth keeping an eye on.

This was back in 2009. I'm sure they have only grown in power since then.

Another scary thing is that 2/3 of their holdings are in retirement accounts. They own your future and old age too, and can wipe them out if they so choose.

I can't help but feel this change in building codes and the push to eliminate the mortgage interest deduction are just a way of eventually eliminating home ownership. Eliminate that and you can keep the population in corporate owned hives, paying ever increasing rents with no alternatives.
