don’t want to trouble all the people who know me with the ceremony of a funeral

when you’re old and gone the only people who care are immediate family and maybe 2 to 3 close friends

no need for a big event for everyone to attend

Probably this ^. If folk wanted to do something I guess I couldn't stop 'em but I'd much rather they save their money and tears for something more useful. Ha and whilst I'll probably opt for cremation if I had free choice of anything I'd go with a sky burial.... Don't think the UK regs allow it though.
