Was just googling games I have never heard of, and yeah I succeeded. What can you tell me about these games that I wouldn't know by Youtubing gameplay of them or reading reviews?

I recommend the games in bold.

Red Faction Guerrilla is a very, very fun open world game. You can destroy pretty much everything, the destruction the game is built around is remarkable and very deep. If it's there and you can fight off the people trying to stop you, there isn't anything you can't take down. It does have a story, nothing special but enough to motivate you from section to section.

I wouldn't recommend Armageddon, though. It's a regular third person shooter and a huge letdown.

I know you like Borderlands, and RAGE is like a more realistic, non-looting version of it. Good graphics, nice gunplay. I don't love it, but it's a solid game.

The Darkness is a pretty cool FPS. It's unique and has a story worth playing I thought. I've never played the sequel so I can't comment.

I've never played any of the other games on that list, either.

I know in the Red Factions you can destroy like any object.

Rage is made by Bethesda so its bound to be good.

That's about all I know.

I remember this is how I got into Borderlands. Basically I googled most underrated PS3 games back like 4 years ago, and saw Borderlands in the list. I never heard about it then, so I youtubed gameplay of it and immediately fell in love with the gameplay and bought it. I also got Vanquish like that, another great game. This is how I find good games. I'm sure there's more to GTA, NBA/MLB/FIFA, and CoD, the only games with commercials.

i liked the story too and the graphics.

I own timeshift. it's bloody and an all around fun game. it is kinda like a pre cod advanced warfare.

Dark Sector, Darkness 1, Red Faction Guerrilla are dated but good games. Guerillas physics and destruction mechanics are great. Darkness 1 story is really good and Dark Sector is sort of like Gears of War with a glaive.

Dark Void and Armageddon are bad games, Rage is beautiful to look at but a bit short and shallow, shooting feels good, guns are hefty and some good car combat. It's not really like Borderlands in anything but setting. I have BInary Domain but never played it and haven't played the other two.

I have a hell of a lot of games and judging by the theme of what you've posted in terms of underrated games Bulletstorm comes top, Spec Ops - The Line is a close second. Criminally overlooked. There are a few more which are divisive. Valkyria Chronicles is great but not if you don't like slow, paced tactical games. Catherine is a weird as hell puzzle game but overlooked. Both Darksiders games are worth a good look if you like Zelda as well as Okami HD.

Kingdoms of Amalur is divisive but undersold as well as Enslaved: Odyssee to the west. Tend to be games you either love or hate but they reviewed well. Vanquish is decent also but is a super japanese third person shooter and the action gets a bit too hectic on screen. There are loads of Japanese games that under sell abroad Ni No Kuni, Eternal Sonata, Binary Domain,

I have Vanquish and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. Vanquish is okay, I never finished it or even got half way through it. The reviews ****** me into it, but different people like different things. Enslaved was definitely better, it's a good game. I played Spec Ops: The Line demo when it came out, it's a great game, I keep reading it's story and message is ATG. Supposedly tries to send out a message about modern games.

Binary Domain, was very underrated imho. Do to all the cover based shooters that flooded the market at the time. I would say give it a try.

Red Faction Guerrilla is a must!!! The second, not so much...

Rage was a vey well put together game. Also, for it to be last gen, it is still beautiful!!

I would say give those 3 a go.

I thought Vanqish was the action sleeper of last gen. I did finish it, and it only gets crazier, and faster. Again, that is just mho.
