[HOLY S**T!] Mass Effect Was The Greatest Trilogy

I really loved the whole story. Greatest gaming experience. The ending did sour me. A guy like Shep was going to die at the end for sure but starchildwas to star wars force for me in a star trek universe. Gonna play through the series again.

    Didn't play #3.

It could have been the greatest game series of all time but EA ruined it (no surprise there) and the original writer for the first Mass Effect left after the first installment (he had the whole trilogy planned out already) and his version of events and how the story should have been, is far far superior to what we got imo.

You wouldn't find many people who loved the first 2 games more than me, but the ending completely ruined it for me. I have trouble going back, knowing how it ends.

I love this game and series. When I was really sick it got me through some hard times. The ending is a sour not, we deserved a happy ending.

But if you haven't already i strongly reccomend the "citidel" DLC pack as it gives all our favourite characters a nice send off

Im fine with shep dying, that's the only way the developers were gonna make a definitive ending without the possibility of more sequels. But i think it was way too confusing, the virtual child and the choices came out of nowhere, it left me thinking wtf just happened? specially with the ship crashing at the end

Still mass effect 3 was a great game, i can't believe people are still pissed about the ending, back in the ps1 days endings were like 30 secs fmv movies if you were lucky.

If you get the good ending he's not actually dead

I won't argue that. It was excellent.

you mean the new ending? because in the original good ending you just saw sheppard running away and everything crashing and then a close up of his body, it left you thinking wtf happened.

Yeah you see his body and then his hand twitches.

The guy survived being spaced, he's fine, I think people just wanted a happier ending, but the citadel dlc is basically the happy ending to the series.
