    [PLEASE HELP] Is this a fair price???

    My friend is selling PS3 with 2 cotrollers, fifa12,battlefield3, and mw3. And a brand new hdmi cable for 350$ (australian dollars)

    I never been a fan of playing computer games but a friend of mine told me that it's a good price for those things..what do you think?

    What are the PS3 specs? Is it a slim or a fat? What is the HD capacity? When was the PS3 purchased? These all have effects on price. Good thing is that BF3 and MW3 are current games and are very good but BF3 will need a US $10 activation code to play online.

    Controllers are also fickle also and I don't usually use controllers after a year. So the age of the controllers would also factor into my personal valuation of the package deal.

      All I know is that the PS3 has 320 gig..I'm not really familiar with game consoles, I guess the best thing to do is to check it out tomorrow ..he also said he'll throw in a microphone..but the biggest problem is I really don't feel like playing BF3 AND MW3..never been a fan of shooting games..

        Current FIFA 12 - $60

        Current BF3 - $60

        Current MW3 - $60

        Extra Controller - $50

        HDMI - $20-60

        So, yes, good deal bozz, do it.

          Wow I feel sorry for any sucker who pays that amount for an HDMI cable. I paid like $3 for a pack of 2, and no, there is no loss in quality from brand name cables.

            If its a 320 gig then its a slim. However, if you don't play shooters then you might as well get a new PS3.

            New PS3 $250 + $44 new controller + $3 HDMI cable which is less than $300

            You can then buy a game of YOUR choosing. Fifa 12 btw is only $35-$40 bucks new.

            The only real value in that deal comes from the shooter games which you stated you don't like.

            P.S. DONT BUY a $60 HDMI cable.
