    Just finished Mass Effect 2

It's fuckin fantastic! Now I just have to start the game over and run through it on insanity with all my powers from the beginning.

I liked it apart from it was too short, just when it really picked up, it finished!

One of my favourite games Squeal. Went to complete the game on insanity on my 2nd playthrough on Xbox. Had pulling my hair out my head at times but it was worth it when seeing the end credits and... No casualties

Yeah I managed to get away with an intact squad. Now I'm going to **** around with it a bit, go through the Omega 4 relay without any squad members or upgrades, that sort of thing.

Managed to nail both Miranda and Tali as well.

When I played the first game I shagged the blue chick. Ashley was way hotter.

Me too, but the asari(can't remember her name) is now a crook and Ashley turned into a total *****. Went with Tali this time. I started off with Jack and right when she wanted to get it on i told her it was over. For the rest of the game anytime i would try to talk to her on the ship she would just yell "FCK OFF!"

Brilliant game, i'll start a second character in mass effect 1 and play all the way through both games soon. Jacob died in with my first character, i might play through the game a second time just to have everybody alive in mass effect 3. I'll probably go infiltrator this time.

I think that the fact decisions you made in the first game change mass effect 2 and potentialy mass effect 3 is amazing. Like Wrex was pissed at my for letting the Rachni queen live in Me1.

Mass Effect 3 will melt faces.

My thoughts from a previous post:

Great, great, great, great, game. It has its flaws, as do all games, but given the wide scope of the universe they created and improved upon it's deserving of a 10/10. Let's make something clear: that doesn't mean it's perfect. No game is perfect and no game will ever be perfect, but even with the flaws it is one of the best games I've ever played.

I could type a huge, gigantic post ranting and raving about difficulty, overpowered or underpowered abilities, etc... but there's only 1 thing that I want to ***** about on this post.

Romance. In Mass Effect 1, your options were simple and both were fine options. You had the hard woman in Ashley who was the hot piece of ass, loyal Alliance to the bone. Or Liara, the interesting species who before the game you knew little about so you'd persue her almost strictly out of curiosity. Both characters plot to get involved is interesting enough that neither choice is better than the other.

In Mass Effect 2 it's the complete opposite. While there are more romantic choices; the only one that makes sense is Tali. Miranda is a ***** for the entire game. Your characters have no meaningful, interesting interactions until she's like, "Hey, let's fuck." And then you're like, "Show me 'dem *******."

Jack is a pyscho ***** with no redeeming qualities. Ok, she was broken and abused and turned into a horrible human being. I'm not putting my **** inside that.

Which brings us to Tali. The only person who actually has a meaningful relationship with your character. I hated the character in Mass Effect 1 because she didn't have personality. All she was was an excuse to have the Quarian database to learn about their culture. She was just a book to read. In ME2 she is the overwhelmingly best choice in terms of legitimate relationship to the story.

It seems like I might be nitpicking about a strange thing, but character interaction is such a big part of western style rpgs given the walls of text involved and development of characters. When you have fucky-fucky options that don't really fit the character, it throws the rest of the surrounding area in the game off.

My main gripe besides that is the short story. There's a solid chunk of gameplay, but the actual story line was very, very short.

Miranda was nice to you after you gain her loyalty. She trusts you more than cerberus after that because while Cerberus helped in return for her services, Shepard helps her with no expectations of repayment. Plus she looks awesome in the second outfit you unlock.

Have you played with the stealth chick yet? I believe Katsumi is her name.

Her powers are real helpful almost overpowered on some missions IMO. plus the SMG you get from doing her loyalty mission rips through everything!!
