    Protein/Creatine for strength

    I have a breif understand on how these supp's work but im only 18 and still studying sport & nutrition at college so still learning.

    I box at 71-74kg and im pretty small for that weight, and the lads I box hit a LOT harder than me, so I want to increase my strength for next season...now I understand 90+% of your power comes from your hips/techique but I would like to try some supplements aswell?

    I currently only take 1 protein shake after training, as I know too much is bad for you, and know what protein does so I only need one as I have a good idea.

    Can anybody recommend me some shakes with both creatine and protein in please?

    I take protein also has i dont think really trust creatine,
    im also on a low carb diet as i wanna slim down and just be toned and not too big!
    If you wanna be big, your gonna have to have more then one shake a day.
    Eat loads of carbs and meat and do weights max four days a week,
    after training have a shake with two scoops.....
    Then before you go to bed have another shake but with just one scoop,
    preferably the shake you take a night should be cassein protein but normal protein will do although it wont be as good for you!
    I also have started taking advanced growth pills called "ZMA HP,"
    in which i made a thread about them the other day,
    although its just been a day or two on them i have heard good things and are completely safe.... and legal

      Creatine is fine and has been said to increase brain function, lower choleterol, etc. Creatine is found in meat as well. Protein doesn't make you stronger it just helps repair the damaged muscle quicker/better, which I guess you can consider stronger, idk you pick. I would go with 2 seperate supplements for creatine and protein as you may want different amounts or just protein w/o creatine sometimes and so on.

        No but seriously 5 grams of creatine a day does increase brain function.

          That's for all your responses, I am not after getting big as I already fight big/tall lads for my height/weight anyway so don't want to be at anymore of a disadvantage by moving up!

          I only use my protein so I can train again the next day as said above and I understand protein does NOT incrase your strength.

          If I were to get 2 different protein and creatine supplements, can anybody recommend me a creatine supplement please?

            I dont use Creatine but have in the past,
            i didnt like it.....
            But MaxiMuscle do some great stuff,
            I got creatine powder and creatine caps too....
            Once again i dont like creatine, but thats me personally....
            Mates in the Gym have used the same stuff too and find it great,
            I never stuck with it so cant tell you what it did for me

                    Do a cycle of Tren. Nothing will get you more ripped to **** and strong as hell than Tren.

                    LOL But on a serious note. If you are going to use Creatine go with Mono it's the only proven effective form. Everything else, IMO is junk. Except for Green Mag which the above poster mentioned is good stuff as is most of the supps Controlled Labs makes

                    Protein I'd be taking anyway just for recovery purposes. It also has a ****load of other health benefits other people overlook
