I'm 5'9 and I always weigh around 130. I guess I can probably go to the closest thing under 130 for fights.
What height do you think most people are in my weight class?

I've also always been interested in knowing what an avarage reach or armlength is. I measured mine a while ago: 73" reach and 27" arm length

Sparring doesn't really give me an idea because it's usually vs someone lighter or heavier.

      what you guys think?
5'10" making 140 is not easy. Havent' seen your body structure but muscle is heavier than fat, you'll probably have to lose some muscle as well and be weaker at that weight, then again if you do have a LOT of fat...

yea I just measured and my arm length is 28''. 5"9 130 is not a good idea my friend! theres no way you have alot of power or snap at that weight.

What makes me laugh is these amateur boxers saying they wanna get ro 135 or 130 to fight.....

there is no such thing as a 130 or 135 pound weight class in the amateurs. You fight at 125, 132, or 141.

Me, im 5'8 and fight at 132 pounds. Im planning on trying to go to 125, I weighed in at 129.5 for my last fight and I got that low pretty easy. But I haven't fought at 125 since I was a freshman in high school.

Yeah I'm 5' 8" and I think I'd feel more comfortable at 132. My typical weight is anywhere from 140-150. It really just floats around there.
