Diaz: Mayweather a normal fighter

Anyhow, I don't disagree that Mayweather enjoyed certain advantages in that fight. I'm simply focusing on Floyd's often used "pull-counter". Again, using the posted GIFs, you can see that Mosley reacts immediately to Mayweather's pull-counter, yet he still misses! It would appear that it's extremely difficult to make Floyd pay for that technique.
Floyd once said in an old interview he already intuitively knows what punches will be thrown by his opponents.

Paraphrasing that. He has said something like that a couple of times, that people say they see flaws, but then they can't do **** about those flaws when it's fight night.
Cotto and his team are looking at the same footage everyone else has. The easy part (easier, anyway) is figuring out what to do; the hard part is actually doing it.

There's no doubt in my mind that the bolded comment is true. In a fight, everything is happening so fast that there's no time to think. That's partly the purpose of training; the mind/body link must be honed to the point that the thinking process is eliminated. Now, apply that process to someone as gifted as Mayweather....

Sure, Mayweather isn't unstoppable, and Cotto is far from a bum(at least in my eyes).
But when it alll comes down to it, as it's been stated before. it's not about the weakness of your opponent, but about being able to take advantage of that weakness.
Mayweather can be beat, but Cotto isn't the fighter to do it. He'll look better then a lot of people are willing to give him credit for, but in the end, Cotto's weaknesses will more evident and exploitable to Mayweather, then Mayweather's weaknesses are to Cotto.
Again, I see Mayweather taking this fight by late tko.

Mosley and Clottey busted Cotto up, Pacquiao and Margarito demolished Cotto, and on May 5 Mayweather's going to take whatever strength and confidence Cotto has left.

There's no way Pedro would think Mayweather is "run-of-the-mill". It's actually normal to look for weaknesses in your opponent's game. lol
Thanks for adding your input!
now if díaz had referred to mayweather as his "pastel" (piece of cake) or a "penco" (coward) that would have been much different!!
the slang there, i guess like anywhere else is apparently always changing, and i think a little more so in cuba than in many other places. i was boxing in old havana and the words/phrases i learnt there are often changing, and well many of my classmates at the university didn't know them, which was kinda funny!
