I think he was probably overshadowed by Manny's achievements...being a 4 division world champion is phenomenal but doing it in 8 divisions is HISTORIC.

nah, but still pinoys never really gave nonito the love... there's other pinoy boxers that get more love from the filipinos than donaire and those pinoy boxers aint even on donaire's level, yet they get more love... guys like magsayo, and that bum casimero gets more love than donaire ....

It seems to me like everybody hates Rachel Donaire. I've heard about that for years but really don't know why it is . Do you , or anyone else know why she gets so much hate ? Are there real legit reasons for it , or do people just pile on ? Thanks in advance.

Whoever’s advising donaire to come back and if it’s his wife then there really making a mistake because donaire didn’t look good in his last couple of fights before he retired the first time and nearly 2 years out the ring isn’t gonna do him any favours either specially at the high level at 118-122lbs where you need you’re speed and your timing to be on point and it’s just not anymore. Saw that when he fought Santiago because a prime donaire would of beat him soundly but he’s just years past that now. He might have enough to beat someone like campos who he’s fighting on the weekend because he’s a average at best but at the high level at 42 just can’t see it ending very well
