African Americans definitely HELD a genetic advantage not too long ago due to being the offspring of the slave trade unfortunately (Michael Johnson did a great documentary about this). This holds true for almost all sport e.g. NFL, NBA, track & field etc. However, their dominance has dwindled largely due to race mixing plus the sedentary lifestyle of the West (hence why there's not many great White American boxers either as opposed to their hungrier Eastern Europeans counterparts). Gangster rap music going main$tream hasn't helped matters either.

In comparison, blacks in Africa have never dominated any sport although they can certainly hold their own in most sport e.g. soccer, basketball, boxing & MMA.

Levels to the game. When you really understand combat there is a whole range involved with how effective any blow landed is. When you see effects of a punch that is sure, and that is great because we can really count that totally.

Unfortunately if you're learning how to fight you off and want punches close. You want it to feel and look like you've been hit by your opponent. And a lot of the best defensive fighters are such because they minimize damage even with contact.

At the end of the day we have very basic measuring by judges for the best punchers in the world. It's just kind of a shame. I don't think it necessarily reflects who wins the fight.

It really follows the same pattern. Circumstances differ... Sometimes the pattern repeats culturally, sometimes it involves taking a small genetic group out of a larger group, but they are very similar dynamics.

Irish Americans in the '20s living in New York City considered fun swimming out to these big ships stowing for a minute, then getting chased and diving off the bow and swimming ashore in the Hudson River. One can only imagine how tough people who entertain themselves this way were. I bring this up because James Tunney talked about it.

I don't get why boxers have to give an interview immediately after the fight. They just spent 36 minutes fighting and getting punched in the head and you want them to speak clearly and concisely? Wait till the post fight presser.

Correction, GGG absolutely was effective in the sense that he imposed his style of fight onto Canelo who subsequently conceded his game plan and was forced to take the few openings available to him. Golovkin's back never touched the ropes once, Canelo's back touched the ropes numerous times as he was getting maneuvered around all 4 corners of the ring. The physical and mental pressure from GGG had Canelo effectively gassed as early as round 6. GGG'S jab was precise, stiff and powerful. He was hitting Canelo with jab, left hook and uppercut combo's whenever Canelo got too relaxed on the ropes. The uppercut was a successful shot used by GGG as it as in the rematch. All in all it was a comfortable victory 8 rounds to 4 for GGG - he imposed his will on the other fighter AND out landed him.

And after all of that.....

Did GGG even land a combo or a body shot ???
How about anything involving his right hablnd ?????
Nelo also had a decent jab and evaded more shots than he was given credit for.

Did wilder ever throw combo's or body shots en route to his victories by way of windmill right hand? Your points are moot, the objective is to win the fight by any means. There is no set rule to stating fighters must throw x amounts of shots so I'm not sure what you're getting at there...

Canelo was vastly ineffective in the fight and his stamina was appalling, when he did put it on GGG in 10-20 second spurts he would quickly run out of steam and get put back in his place. Despite almost certainly being on PEDs, having his hand wraps stacked illegally and wearing hard horse hair winning gloves, Canelo couldn't put a dent in Golovkin yet was well and truly forced to fight the other mans fight.
