David Price; will he get right?

Just wondering what folks think about how Price's rematch against Tony Thompson unfolds.....

...a freak defeat comprehensively avenged by Price?

.. the under-rated Thompson wins again and Price is effectively finished?

...or a third scenario where Price sc****s a victory, visiting the deck again, but some big doubts still hang over his ability to operate consistently and successsfully beyond domestic level?

    ....maybe something else?

I like the way Price is prepared to step right back in against TT and turned to Lennox Lewis to force himself to get out of his comfort zone and learn from the best. But I am still really not sure what happens come fight night....guess it might actually boil down to what Thompson brings to the ring.

I think its going to be a pretty dull fight, Price is going to be tentative and cautious and get a points win. But obviously there will be a constant threat of a KO either way (more likely on Price).

Price needs an emphatic knockout to be even close to where he was before the first fight. And at 30 he doesn't have a whole load of time left.

Thompson wipes him out again, Price is dog****. Makes me howl how people thought the useless tower of garbage would take him out far quicker than Wlad. The guy does absolutely NOTHING 1/10th as good as Wladimir and never will.

Hes a big useless yop, a poor mans Tye Fields who can't handle movement and only has a straight right.

Hell to think I used to think this prat would beat Fury lol, shame on me.

Dan, so you laugh (howl) at people who rate him even though you rated him yourself? When did you change your mind?

Just before the Thompson fight as I was breaking them down actually. I studied tape and realised how god damn awful Price actually was. Thread on here actually.

I've seen Thompson at 3/1 that looks great value to me!

Put 40 on Thompson knocking him out, better not be a rigged fight.

Still not sure about this one at all.

But if pushed I am going for a Price win.

He's got Lennox by his side, pushed himself harder in training than ever before and it is a warm-old night here in the UK and I reckon it will be bloody roasting under those ring lights....that might not be good news for the older guy if he can't land early again.

                  Looking forward to it.

He's always been a hard worker, I don't think that's an issue. The issue is clearly his chin and how well he protects it. I think this one ends in the middle rounds, but I'm 50/50 on which way it goes.
