in today's HW era......is there, or has there been anyone good enough or feared enough to duck??

These two hurt each other, because they will be half a champion. Nothing more than a "titlest". If either was the only Klitschko, and won the undisputed title, that Klitschko would have a chance to be a legend but for now they live in the shadow of each other.

Enough , James Toney never stood a chance against either very tall boxers such as the klitschkos , nor against super massive punchers such as Tua and Tyson.
James Toney should have never left the CW division no matter its limit was.
In fact , he should have never gone beyond 175.
And he should have returned the CW after his recent medicore performances . He should retire from boxing if anything.

I agree, Toney would of been king of CW for along time if he stayed and he would of been remembered as a much better boxer then he already is :P, and he has retired from boxing.... He's gone into MMA =.=.

He did not retire if you ask him , and that's why he will return to boxing and it won't be called a comeback.

Briggs was a champion though. He may not have been great, but he was still there and a fight never took place. Wladimir didn't prove himself against Sanders, although his brother took care of it.

a quality version of James Toney would have been quite annoying for those two

Unfortunately the Heavyweight division sucks so bad there isn't a single opponent other than each other to duck. It's not there fault but when your best wins are over Chris Byrd you got some really bad competition. If they lived in just about any other era we could really see how good they are. I can't think of a single Heavyweight of there era outside of Chris Byrd who could legitimately be a contender in another era.

                      1. there is no one worth ducking

                      2. Whichever opponent may be inconvenient to fight, the other one fights.

I give them both props, Vlad is a hell of a good champion, weak division or not. Vitali is too, it's to bad Vitali had to take so much time off.

I also give them props for not fighting Holyfield all these years, Evander was begging them for fights and i forgot which one said it but he said, "were fighters, not barbarians, we have to much respect for evander to hurt him anymore."

That made me give them a lot of respect, because it could of been a very easy payday, and I really don't want to see what Wlad would of done to him.
