Poland has a fast growing economy, and with that comes increased investment for industrialization and development. The fact that Poland receives more is not a bad thing, that means EU is investing in one of their countries that has the most prospects which they see as ultimately becoming a profitable contributor themselves in the near future. In other words EU won't be subsidizing Poland indefinitely, their aim is to have Poland developed on par with them in the near future so that Poland itself then becomes a contributor to the other countries, and with Polands rate of economic growth its going to happen quite soon.

How long do they need to be free loading for? It's been 30 years since EU was established

They’re not free loading their using EU funds exactly as they’re meant to be used, to modernize and develop their infrastructure and economy, this in turn keeps the Poles within Poland instead migrating across Europe and becoming a burden on the rest of the countries. Once they hit a certain threshold which won’t be long at this rate, then they will become a contributor nation as well, which in the long run is far preferable for the EU’s future and their society in general.
