Why do people on here and in the West act like they really know what's going on in Ukraine/Russia

Virtually none of you live there, or know anything about the countries. Or about the history between the two countries.

All we do know are the 2 versions of events - that a) ***** is either a crazy madman intent on killing anyone in his way of taking over the world and especially reuniting the USSR; or

b) ***** feels threatened by the encroachment of the West and Nato, and feels like the current Ukrainian administration has turned a blind eye and even encouraged abuse of ethnic Russians who live in Ukraine.

What is the most correct version? Who knows, but the second version would seem like a smarter pick to anyone with a brain. Is it possibly somewhat of a mix between the 2 versions? Very possibly. Do we know for sure at this time what the most correct version is? No, we don't. But anyone in the West swearing it is the first version looks like a complete idiot.

What many people have said, is that ***** may very well have a valid reason for going into Ukraine. The encroachment of NATO is a real thing. How threatened ***** should feel about that, is not really up for us to decide, but it is something people could disagree on. It is however a very valid possibility - that ***** feels he and his people, Russia as he knows it, have some threat from the West and he needs to act on it.

The 2nd worst part are all of these people who act like they understand what is really happening on the ground lol. You won't really have any idea as to what has happened until about a week after all of this started. Everything right now is misinformation or disinformation mixed in with some actual information.

The worst part is having to listen to all these idiots, like Jim, Nelson, Robbie, Trav, Szef, who amongst them would struggle to have a working brain. Yet they get on here like they are foreign policy experts lol.
