No Surprise! Even as a Hardcore I really didn't know Angelo Leo and Williams all that well

I don't think you will see good Ratings most of these Boxing Cards at least not until they roll out some bigger and better fights

Coppinger's numbers are usually wrong. They always leave out ******s and DVR, which are not monitored by Nielsen.

Regardless, that number is not bad when considering what Top Rank had for their numbers on ESPN.

Nobody knew Leo or Williams. Even some hardcore fans were unfamiliar with either.

I watch pretty much every fight religiously myself. It's not a huge drawing sport. People for the most part have never heard these guys names unless its Mayweather or Pacquiao and here lately Tyson. Other than a very few names it's not like you've got pro boxers on wheaties boxes and Nike commercials to promote their names. As you said very much a niche sport.

Top Rank's espn numbers never fell to 150k viewers lol. show me a title fight that drew low ratings like showtimes card. why should ******s and dvr be counted? we're talking about television ratings besides you really think there's that many people watching on ******s?

These are awful numbers regardless of how you want to spin it. If this few people watched on tv, whatever miniscule number watched through ******ing isn't going to make the ratings any better. Nielsen does monitor DVR viewing, but it's not like that many people are watching a fight nobody cared about after they already know the result.

Be mindful it was up against the return of the NBA, NHL playoffs, and MLB and was essentially a glorified ShoBox card.

Awful numbers,. But what do you expect for a card that doesn’t have one recognizable name

It was a better broadcast than Top Rank on ESPN...even without Paulie M.....Looking forward to more boxing on Showtime!
