I would he rematch Peterson? He beat him you clown. Danny Garcia is scared of Khan. He knows he will lose. Thats why Dannys dad refused a rematch.

A guy gets KOd by a few men. Probably not okay, right? Of course not. Now that same man has his most catastrophic and violent KO AFTER all the others, by the biggest and most powerful man he’s faced, in which he was visibly and admittedly NOT okay for a good deal after the fight....and has much more visible signs of “wear” since... It’s a clear turning point.

Canelo didn’t do it all, but SINCE then. That’s it man. Another fork in the CTE road. Not sure if saying Canelo got you defensive or what, but Khan is in a night and day difference since the Garcia loss. Age and punishment are now cause for real concern.

You can’t even imagine Khan surviving against even a remotely top name anymore. I’m genuinely getting to a point of worry for him when I hear him possibly facing a top guy.

I agree with you 💯. I read a little too much into it while responding.
My opinion is Khan got exposed by Prescott and Garcia sealed his fate. This is in the context of his inability to take a punch.

Garcia KO’s Khan and somehow he’s afraid to fight Khan again?
That logic is like saying PAC or Floyd were afraid to rematch Hatton because they know they’ll lose.

[QUOTE=£-4-£;20648188]I disagree that Maidana has had a better career than Khan.

Losing 7-5 & 8-4 to Floyd in entertaining fights, getting shutout by Alexander but beating the brakes off Broner, losing close fights to Khan and Kotelnik, and winning WBA Regular Titles at 140 ad 147 doesn't trump what Khan did.

Khan shutout both Kotelnik and Alexander, beat Maidana, got robbed against a juiced up Peterson, won a legit alphabet title and unified (albeit against a past prime Judah). Khan made 5 out of his 6 successful defenses against top-10 ranked fighters (I'm including Peterson), was top-2 ranked in his division with Bradley for like 3 years, took on tough voluntary fights like Garcia, Canelo, Crawford despite everybody knowing he had an poor chin since before the Prescott KTFO.

Let's not forget that fights against Floyd, Manny, Bradley and JMM were never made despite Khan desperately wanting them.
Maidana has fought 9 'title holders' to Khan's 15.
            ———————————

So a guy that’s been KO’d a couple of times and wasn’t ranked in the top 5 WW should get a shot at Floyd or Manny because he “desperately” wanted it?

How many nondescript boxers “desperately” want/wanted to fight the top guys?

Junior Witter is now saying Floyd ducked him when Witter “desperately” wanted the fight.

Khan ended 2014 and 2015 ranked #3 by Ring. A viable opponent, but Manny was fighting Bradley and Floyd. Floyd, Maidana and Manny. It never worked out for Khan. His fault for selling his chin to Canelo, should have fought Brook for his belt which was way more winnable than Canelo at 155.

Besides, my post was about comparing to Maidana, I just mentioned that he chased HOF level fighters but didn't get the fights.

Maidana should say he knows he is the better fighter and had the better career and he should try cleaning out 147 since after him and Floyd left, the division has been soft and ripe for the picking.

I'm picking Maidana over Spence, Manny, Porter, Thurman, and consider a fight with Crawford as 50/50 fight.

Yes, I always expect the best of a fighter no matter how long the hiatus. I have to see otherwise in the ring. Maidana is a contender and should get a title shot off the rip. Any elite old guard deserves that respect.
TMT BABY! I like it. Lets just hope our boy has been cutting down on the steaks, beers and lines and can make it down in weight

maidana is a respectable 36, over the hill, probably, by a long way, probably and 6 yrs gone, i dont hold out much hope of a big impressions when he fights, imo he needs a fight v somebody to show his level and not some cash grab that ends in omg i thought he would be better than that smh type of thing
