I enjoy a boxing masterclass, but that was more like "keep away". I watched it for free, so I guess I don't care. If I paid for it, I'd be upset lol.

Both fighters should be proud of the money that they made. They should also be proud of the event they could put together. The fight itself was absolute garbage by both of them. It was the least amount of punches landed by either fighter in a 12 round fight. It was also a massive hugfest. Paulie and the Floyd hardcores can try to spin that however they want. The weirdos that think Manny won can also try to spin it however they want.

Bottom line is that they're all still arguing over who is the king of a trash heap. Had the fight happened years earlier like almost everyone agrees that it should then maybe it would have been a different story.

        He's not wrong.

But as a fan, I just thought "we waited that long for THAT?!?"

Lol... Didn’t realize I was supposed to be bored till the next day. Great fight, no need to whine, or create conspiracy theories on shoulders and saltwater healing, the fight played out as we thought it would. People still complain about Mayweather boxing in that fight but celebrate Fury for boxing in his fights? What’s really happening here?

The backlash should have happened when the ppv price and undercard were announced.

The fact they waited that long is at least partly the reason we got that. Just knowing how much more meaningful it would have been in 2010, was part of the disappointment.

I enjoyed the fight. The greatest two fighters of the era in a chess match. It was never going to be Gunz Blazing. Mayweather far too smart for that. He went 50-0 for a reason.

Everyone outside America thinks Pac win but that's not important to floyd.
Floyd said he'd ko pac? Paulie must admit Floyd didn't even try. Floyd should have rematche d Pac and try win in a way the world thinks he did actually win.

Would have been a more meaningful fight 5 years prior in terms of their respective primes and form. But I'm not convinced it would have been a completely different spectacle.

Mayweather denied Pacquiao his ideal range to operate in. I can imagine him doing the the same with his lead right hands if it were to take place 2010. Probably pan out similar, just with a greater volume of punches thrown from both parties.
