I think it’s gonna happen regardless of fans interest, barring injury which is very possible since they’re both 46.

Al Dah is a part-time boxer / promoter in Dubai (just had a show today) and Ricky is helping him bring some attention (probably getting a nice check too) to help him build his boxing promotion over there and probably scratching the itch to get back in there as well.

I wouldn't worry about this. If anything it will give Ricky Hatton a good reason to get in shape. He is fighting a guy in his age group who has been stopped in his last 2 fights. For him, it can be low risk and high reward.
