Ricky was my gateway to into boxing and I will always love him. This is painful to see, and apparently the WBC are behind it?

Ricky Hatton would have won his original comeback fight against Vyacheslav Senchenko 'If he would have just had a few tick over fights before competing in that top level fight. To physiologically reacclimatize himself to training, and living the lifestyle of a fighter. But instead? Ricky Hatton opted to go from 0 to 100 miles a hour in training, so by the time fight night arrived he was clearly over trained and still suffering from the chronic negative effects of his lifestyle post retirement'.

Note: Many people go on about Tyson Fury's comeback 'And how he was able to gradually train himself back into condition then fight Deontay Wilder I. In my opinion? Ricky Hatton back in 2012 was attempting to make a comeback from an even more worse place than Tyson Fury. But unlike Fury? Hatton jumped back into the game at a very high level against Vyacheslav Senchenko'.

Regardless against Vyachesalv Senchenko, Ricky Hatton performed very well. But you could detect that his timing, and usual robust physicality was not quite up to his own acceptable standards. This would have in my opinion, improved if he approached his comeback similar to Tyson Fury.

Apparently Ricky Hatton is consistently training, and ticking over in the gym. 'But I would imagine he still likes certain behaviours from his former lifestyle, which over time will have accumulative negative effects on a retire boxer'.

To conclude: There was this song by a band called: Pulp: Common people 'Ricky Hatton was the Champion of common people. But he was competing in a sport, which forces a athlete to do extraordinary things and make uncommon sacrifices. Like most sports. Ricky Hatton was one of those fighters who did not quite make all of those sacrifices, to the same level of his competitors and especially fighters like Floyd Mayweather Junior and Manny Pacquiao'.

Well Ricky Hatton has 4 to 5 months to get himself in fighting condition. I would imagine the skill level between Ricky Hatton and his opponent is vast, and even if? The opponent is in better condition due to maybe in recent times living a more dedicated boxing lifestyle. The actual skill level and innate boxing ability of Ricky Hatton will be a determining factor if he wins' etc.
