I was gutted when the lucky punch landed. No way should Wardley have won. He was outclassed in every department and relies on a lucky punch. He is an average fighter with a good chin and a strung punch. Huni will feel gutted he did everything right, I can never support Wardley let's hope he gets matched with Itauma who kos him early.

There is no such thing as a lucky punch. This is boxing, punching the other guy is the object of the game and the way you win. You can't say Wardley was lucky when he threw a punch with the intent to hurt and it hurt his opponent.

Why though?
Wardley is a white collar boxer who turned pro and look how far he's got.

Huni should've fought smarter.
I guess he was lucky in most thought huni was going to win by round 10. Not a lucky punch, but luck was on his side so to speak

There is no luck. The object of the game is to punch people and Wardley showed up and won by punching people. Pretty uncomplicated.
Bit.like if you win lottery. Bit like if ugly man pulls a stunner.
Huni didn't need to press, and that he did was a bit fortunate for wardley. But lucky for me as I wanted Wardley to find it, but was doubtful. Wardle was lucky huni have him that chance
Huni messed up. His corner messed up even more. If he just boxed economically the last three rounds but he wanted to finish off a 'wounded animal' and got a 'fatal bite'
Wardley is competitive with most HWs. Few have the footwork of Huni.
Off top of my head >
Best footwork in order
Usyk
Itauma
Kabayel
Parker
Ajagba based on Bakole fight
Fury
Superior punching power to Wardley
