I am extremely convinced we will see a slower fighter whose reflexes are gone and that this was a fantasy of a boxer who is out for a money grab. Too bad Freddy Roach is a pimp along with everyone else connected with this fiasco. Of all people, Roach should have stepped in and put some sense into Pac but he jumped on the money train too.

Manny has a shot if he can hurt Barrios inside the first five rounds. If it goes past that I see Pac slowing way down and Barrios gets the UD.

Pac is one of my all time fav guys to watch. That said I honestly expect him to lose by UD. The boxing fan I was a decade ago is begging for the magical shot that stops Barrios. But reality is reality and boxing is trash now. Nothing that amazing can possibly happen.

Barrios isn't elite but will look it against the corpse of the legendary pacman, hopefully the co main event will be a good one.

I hate to say it Manny , you're an all time great , but Barrios is going to kick your ass. You're too old and don't have it anymore. It happens to everyone.

Boots and Norman however are a completely different story.
Those two are natural welters. Whereas Barrios moved up from 140.

Pacquiao's performances against natural welters has been hot and cold.
The only natural welters (those that either debut at 147 or the vast majority of their career was at 147) he ever fought were Clottey, Margarito, Horn, Thurman, and Ugas.
Half those fights he won and half he lost.
Thurman win was probably the last time he'll ever get a win against a natural welter and that was a really tough victory.
I just don't see him beating Boots or Norman at this age.

But I could still see him still clinching victories against those coming up from lightweight (Teo, Haney, Rolly, Tank, etc.)
            These aren't natural welters.

Also, Boots and Norman should really not wait for the WBC winner because it seems PBC is just gonna round robin just to keep the belt at their stable (whether it's Tank vs Pac or Tank vs Barrios 2 or some Rolly vs Barrios, etc.)
            I totally agree!

That will be horrible to watch if it happens! One would hate for their heroes to go out on their shield like that. Let's just hope and pray that he manages to go the full twelve rounds. Without getting stopped or retiring on his stool.

He didn't. Avoided them like the plague.

                    Margarito Williams Thurman Spence

Except for Carlos Baldymir. He stunk the joint out pretty good that night.
