Alvarez Madrimov Similarities & How It Affects TBud-Alvarez

in which ways is Bivol's Cousin Madrimov similar to Alvarez

Madrimov was sparring partner of Bivol during his training camp for Alvarez

It worked because Bivol 9-3 Alvarez

on the other hand TBud went life & death with Madrimov

    Carpe Diem

Highly similar to Alvarez and TBud could get mopped by Saul

Both are sturdy, and can throw similar type of signature punches(looping right hand, left hook, uppercut, etc), but although Canelo has slower feet, he’s still a more deceptive puncher than Madrimov. He’s much quicker with better timing than Madrimov and he can set up traps better than Madrimov. Madrimov is definitely more athletic, but not by much. Ultimately, Canelo is going to have to find a way to cut the ring off if Crawford tries to use the Lara blueprint, but I don’t think Crawford’s 1-2 combo is as lethal and disruptive as Lara’s, and he’s not nearly as elusive as Lara was. I got Canelo winning, but anything can happen, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Crawford pulls it off, but I’m going with Canelo.

Let's cut to the chase. Everyone knows that Bud Crawford didn't train for Israil Madrimov. No more than Canelo Alvarez trained for William Scull.

However, I expect both guys to come in prepared, focused and disciplined, sharp and on their A games. Once they are in the ring facing each other.

I slightly favor Bud Crawford but who knows; Anything can happen? I choose Terence Bud Crawford for the simple fact I just believe that he wants it a whole lot more than Canelo does.

Judging by Canelo's last 6 or 7 performances; They were all uneven and lackluster to me. It just seemed that he was there to only collect an easy payday and go home.

He was fighting like a bored and emotionally drained fighter to me. I saw no hunger, thirst, passion or zeal. If he fights like that against Crawford he will lose.

Yeah! No doubt! If Canelo can bring back the same passion, hunger and zeal that he has lost in the past then he could definitely pull it off. However, just showing up because he is the bigger, wider and stronger fighter is not going to get the job done. He is going to have to sweat and put in that work in the gym in order to defeat Crawford.
