If the Canelo who fought GGG either of the first two times fought Scull, I think he'd sleep him or liver shot him to hospital.

Naw-this dude was absolutely determined not to give a whiff of engaging. This is hard to look good against. Certainly nobody in the SMW division would look great against Scull fighting like this unless they were actually able to land a perfect shot.

At the risk of being impious, Im going to compare Scull to Jose Napoles. To me, Jose is Cuban class, Cuban style. All the good things. Scull is, I cant say it. He made me ill.

This entire card was the biggest dud I’ve seen in years. I mean, zero action and substandard fighters. Watching hot dogs cook is more fun. What was with Canelo’s hairdoo? It looked like a young Hitler youth buzz cut. I actually think that Crawford can beat Canelo. The Alvarez I saw tonight looked slow with wild swings. Granted - he was chasing around a fart all night long but he didn’t look sharp to me. Even if Canelo is bigger, Bud won’t miss that easy chin with combinations.

Canelo has had to change up his attack with his advancing age. This is true, but that said, I saw a Canelo who effectively cut off the ring and forced Scull to reset constantly. Now, cutting off the ring does not result in punches landed all the time. WHY? Because the fighter being cut off has options in response: either stand and fight your way out, or retreat and reset. Scull elected the latter for just about the entire fight. Yes, he landed scoring shots against Canelo, but they were completely ineffective. Canelo was the entire ring general, forcing Scull to constantly move. Canelo landed the more telling shots (to the body).

umm news flash. Last time I checked, cutting off the ring meant actually cornering an opponent and not allowing them to constantly run around the ring. Simply making the opponent reset and run in the other direction does not mean you are cutting off the ring. Delusional canelo fan boys literally trying to redefine what cutting off the ring means. Just unbelievable.

Canelo was hunting him all night, he just couldnt catch him. Scull played keep away like canelo had disease. We know who was unwilling
