WBC is pro anyone who can sell tickets or PPV. WBC loved Wilder and Floyd and many others. Mexican boxers in general really respect the WBC over any other belt.

You will lose that case. There's so much burden of proof you would need to find to even find proof of that relationship to trigger a lawsuit. There was a boxer in the 90s forgot his name but he was going to sue and win a lawsuit against an organization I believe it was the WBC and all thr boxers such as Roy Jones called him and told him to drop the case because it would bankrupt the WBC.

It's not strange - Bivol isn't Mexican and Benavidez is, so they're enforcing the title shot.

"Strange" implies abnormal - this is par for the course with the WBC.

It’s not strange. The wbc blows Canelo and are still scorned from when they angered him by enforcing ggg as a mandatory in 2016 when he didn’t want to take that risk yet. Since then they’ve created fake belts to appease him and wouldn’t dare force him into another risky situation. So they were cool with him facing lesser opponents to avoid David but because it was so blatant, they couldn’t screw him at 175 too. Even if it meant screwing Bivol who unlike Canelo, is facing the perceived biggest threat in the division.

Don't blame these guys like Benavidez and Ennis.

It's not their fault that the title holders didn't defend the belt against them for whatever reason.

I don't begrudge Benavidez getting the WBC title. He's taken on and beaten a few guys that others didn't want to fight.

There were very few who were keen to fight Morrell, and he's still probably avoided, so that was a career defining victory.
