Are people just forgetting Kabayel who's done more than Parker to get his shot, just compare the Zhang fights.
I'm Glad Parker is getting his shot but I think Kabayel Usyk would have been more intriguing with Kabayels preasure & body work.
I'm sick to death of constant rematches so I'm glad fresh blood is getting a chance. Hopefully Kabayel gets his shot against Dubois, i quite fancy his chances in that one.

Kabayel is WBC interim. If usyk retires without fighting him, he will be elevated to the champ.

This is going to be a complete mismatch. Shutout on the way to a knockout.

A wise man came up to me while I was on the park bench (the wife kicked me out) I was creating a mathmatical matrix of all the present heavyweights, each condition for their fight to happen, the organizations they were a part of.... Then adding mathmatical values to things like rematch clauses, step asides... I was almost done! Just thinking about all the accolades I would receive when I went to give in this chart to my fellow posters.... and how this project had allowed me to pass the time on the bench... when this geezer sat down and said to me:

"If all these heavyweights just fought each other random draw out of a hat, or tourney, at a pace of 3 times a year... or said tourney, we would need none of the fluff, no special clauses, no considerations..." Then when I thought perhaps he was a casual at best... he said "remember my son the Super Middle Weight Tourney that Ward won!" Anyhow... at least I needed a sn ot rag... having gotten a bit of a cold so my chart did not go to total waste...

Neither Fury nor Usyk are Matchroom fighters

The Brits love their rematch clauses. That's why he had to fight AJ twice as well. You want to blame anyone, blame the guys who inserted rematch clauses.
I mean, he can breach. But I get you.

Not everybody will get a shot at Usyk. He is already contemplating retirement. He was on record saying he has two more fights left in him and one of those two fights was going to be a "show fight" against Alex Pereira (who just lost on the weekend) so we might be talking one real fight, maybe two maximum. There is a very good chance he fights DDD, collects all belts again and retires. Nothing left to prove to anyone.

Undisputed for 15 minutes, that is.

Kabayel has a good chance against anyone, even Usyk. That body attack is vicious and I doubt that anyone can survive it. His chin is sturdy enough to take return fire. The only way to beat him (in my opinion) is to box his head off with 1,000 punches like a machine gun and keep him at a distance the way Usyk did against Gassiev. That approach requires some serious stamina which, again, Usyk is the only heavyweight that can execute that game plan.

So Dubois no longer is the interim title holder?
