I just want to see him in with someone who will throw a bit of leather at him. I thought McKean was a good choice for that and a decent step up in quality and resilience. Turned out he wasn't close to being enough of a test.
Yeah, the second one actually took me by surprise and made me go "whoa" because he threw it so tight, straight and fast. The first one was a looping left. That's two different types of KO shots McKean had to deal with on top of the hard step-in jab to the body which already had him flinching to parry. I was impressed by the variety tbh.

McKean would have been better served to use his legs for a round or two, staying out of range for a bit. He held his feet right there in the firing line every time Itauma stepped in.

They don't need to rush him in with some of the names mentioned here, especially if he's talking about fighting eight times. I can't see that tbh, but four times next year would be about right. I always like to see these young guys get some rounds with a crafty veteran of the Kevin Johnson type.

'Do you always punch people in the face before the start of conversation?'

Believe me, BrankoB, Asmodeus has never punched anyone in the face for real. Online yes.

'There are tons of names. Ruiz, Hrgovic, Joyce, Anderson, Gassiev, Whyte. Pick one'.

Moses is 19 & has had 9 pro fights & you want to throw him in with Ruiz or Hrgovic? In the words of Robert Johnson 'yo dumb so dumb'. He could fight Anderson but that is pretty risky when you compare their age & experience & that it would be a last chance for Anderson. That definitely isn't a fight I would recommend at this stage. I hope Joyce will retire & I thought Gassiev had retired, so, basically, out of that list of 6 I can accept only one,Whyte, who I mentioned earlier in my much more considered post.

Completely 100% incorrect. King got involved and kicked Rooney to the curb and lined him up with trainers no one heard of that is what ended his career. Not that he wouldn’t have hit his apex. However, I firmly believe that under Rooney who had him focused, he was unstoppable

Both wrong, but Boxingfanatic75 probably slightly less wrong than sad incel Asmodeus. Mike Tyson was limited by his height & his reach. However good he aspired to be it depended on the other guy accepting his terms. I had Buster Douglas at 13:1, Douglas would always be hell for Mike, height, reach, great jab, subtle footwork & speed. The biggest knock on Buster was that he wouldn't show up. He didn't have the heart. Everyone knew his skills were competitive. When he showed up & brought his full array of skills, at that point it was over for Tyson.
