Is it me or is Bud always wearing this SAME damn shirt (or a variation of) when he’s out and about?

Great article. But how in the hell is lightweight a better division than 154. 154 has been the best division for 6/7 years now. Lightweight has disappointed as often as not in the same tf. Only HW rivals 154 in the last two years but there are better overall quality of fighters at 154 and it's a deeper division.

KTFO by way of Charlo's punches.
I'm guessing that since Charlo seems to be in the lower half of the author's rankings at 154, that would make Castano a gatekeeper for the moment, at least.
              Just a hunch.

                Yep, exactly my reaction, too.
154 is deeper and the talent pool isn't nearly the bunch of prima donna whiners we see at lightweight.
These guys at 154 are warriors.

I know that, but where is the comeback, he's still only 31 or so

BoxRec doesn't give his age but Wiki says he's 35 now.
Hasn't fought since loss to Charlo in 2022, so age + inactivity kinda explains his dropping off the radar.

As far as Ennis and Ortiz, I don't think Ortiz is as protected as Jarod. I dont understand why he is staying at WW. I know a belt is important, but there is no one even on the horizon at WW. He just doesnt seem to want to get near the really top guys who are all at JM.

This has been going on for a few years now.
