As for the comparisons to KAT and Embiid, they are also misleading. Those 2 had surgeries in their late 20s, not at 39-40. On top of that, KAT came back and played absolutely terrible.

I can't blame Beterbiev for taking the fight in Oct, it's highly looked forward to and has huge money behind it, however make no mistake about it - the knee injury has absolutely made him a worse fighter than he was. 40 year olds don't come back from surgeries in the top shape - ever.

Beterbiev's assistant trainer is supposed to say that there's no physical problem's, if he didn't he would be fired immediately.
Beterbiev's injuries, constant postponements, and delay's due to injuries are a serious concern for his boxing career.
Now he's fighting a master boxer who knows about his injuries, especially this latest one which isn't just an injury, but a surgery of his knee.
That's a major problem, because Bivol is a pure boxer who knows how to mange distance, movement, blocking, parring, ducking, and has a sturdy chin.
I'm not saying that Bivol is definitely going to win this fight, but he sure has an advantage against the aging, injury prone, and fresh out of surgery Beterbiev.
That said I definitely want to see this fight because they're both consummate professional's, undefeated champions, who are fighting for the undisputed title.

Rehab in Russia? Out of the way of VADA/testing?
