So the email champ running it back with Karen?

Damn Eddie could've done better than that. Pointless fight.

Less easy when it's your dad, who also taught you how to box, IMO. I'm one of the guys who regularly criticizes the fact that Boots' resume is so shallow and says he needs to earn his own stripes, but I'm also not going to be hard on him for jumping through the hoops.

What do you think he should have done? Go to PBC? Do you honestly think PBC has a good record of delivering fights between their own fighters? PBC fighters are notorious for inactivity and not fighting each other.
I was in his shoes. The first time in my life I said NO to my father (I was 25) - our relationship went to hell and it never, ever recovered. That is the price of growing up and being your own man.

HUH?????..."think PBC has a good record of delivering fights...." what????? Yes they do. They just put on two multi year undisputed title runs at 147 and 154 and delivered a shot at 168 undisputed for their fighter. They have the only successful PPV boxers in America of the last decade on their team and they have put on about 15 of the top 20 all time PPV boxing events in history. So yes he should of signed with PBC and not EUROroom. And if I was Boot's dad I would humbly take off my manager cap and just wear my trainer cap. Haymon is the manager with a historical record of making multiple stars in American sports and entertainment, not Hearn. Crazy statement.

you know it's funny when you think about recent history maybe the last decade or 2 we never get the good fights from potential greats until they're like 30 years old..26-29 its always something be it promoter issues, lack of top tier talent or something like this that tends to waste their best prime years..from Floyd to Ward, Bradley, Crawford..list goes on and on
The reason it takes them a while to become successful and start making real money - it takes a few years for their mind to catch up with their body. Even though they are supreme athletes at 25, they do not believe in their heart they deserve success and be paid millions so they sabotage their success every step of the way. In Jaron's case, a supreme athlete cannot stand up to his daddy and start driving his own bus.

You got damn right!! He has to break away from dad before he misses his opportunity to go down as one of the greatest boxers in history. Only PBC has the fighters for him at 147-168 that will make him an American star. If he signed with EUROroom to go down as one of the greatest boxers in the history of Eurasia then he should stick with Hearn. Boy this guy reminds me of David Hasselhoff. ..... baddup-bam!!!!

Jesse doesn't need Ennis. He should be on his own main events. As a matter of fact Bam has accomplished way more than Ennis.

All of Bam's fights so far have taken place in the Southwest US (Texas, Arizona, California, Nevada) or Mexico. Getting him in front of a big Philadelphia crowd will be good for his exposure.

Hopefully he can fight in New York, Japan, and the UK at some point too.

A fight no one wants. That said, I hope Chukhadzhian comes in with a better game plan this time and at least makes it a little more entertaining.

Ugh. That Norman fight would've at least been somewhat competitive even if I think he wasn't ready for Boots.

When he unifies the WW division by end of 2025. Will you still call him a bum?

To be clear, the fight with Karen is a fight no one wants to see. And yes, Boots could advocate for himself a lot better but like you said, he’s 26 years old.
