I was getting ready to post some snarky jokes about Charlo's predicament but your post hit on the truth.
There's a German word: schadenfreude which means taking pleasure in other's misfortune.
Sometimes it seems appropriate, sometimes it just doesn't.
There is no joy in this for me.
