I cannot speak to Fury's level of assuredness about Usyk or the condition of his body, but I feel, as I have since Usyk-Joshua I, that Fury's overall suite of abilities will prove too much; all contingent on the champion's physical and emotional health when the bell rings in May.
I observe that since the unification was first discussed, Usyk has raised his stock and Fury has not raised his own; which provides a perceptual paraty that did not exist prior. That's good for the box office.
Should Fury come in fine tuned and beat Usyk convincingly, a great many of his legion of critics will indeed have egg on their faces; but they will slink off to find some other brave warrior to slag, as a means of dealing, I suppose, with their own shortcomings, or whatever is eating at them.
